BFFS26 Denver Summit to Focus on Bitcoin Custody, Credit, and Advisory Services

The Bitcoin for Financial Services Summit (BFFS26) will return to Denver from October 20–22, 2026, bringing together CPAs, wealth advisors, attorneys, lenders, and corporate leaders. Now in its second year, the conference features more than 30 sessions across two full program days focused on practical Bitcoin integration across financial practices.

Industry Leaders and Institutional Topics

The summit opens on Tuesday, October 20, with a keynote by Joseph Kelly, CEO and co-founder of Unchained, addressing custody, credit, and scaling trust. Other featured presenters include Alan Lane, former CEO of Silvergate Bank, who will share banking lessons for digital assets, Patrick Lowry, CEO of Samara Asset Group, discussing public-company treasury reserve strategies, and Colin Crossman, Wyoming’s Deputy Secretary of State, addressing the regulatory outlook for banks, exchanges, and advisors.

Additional featured speakers include Kate Goldman of Anchorage Digital, Sam Baker of River, Eric Yakes of Epoch Ventures, Daniel Hillery of UTXO Management, Moish Peltz of Falcon Rappaport & Berkman, and CJ Konstantinos of Peoples Reserve.

Program topics concentrate on implementation, covering family office wealth planning, Bitcoin-backed lending and mortgages, corporate treasury accounting and valuation, retirement planning, charitable giving, mining as an asset class, and fiduciary responsibilities. Specialized workshops will offer continuing education credits for CPAs and financial advisors.

"Last year proved that financial professionals want more than a Bitcoin primer. They want to know how to serve clients who already own it," said summit co-host Jordan Guess, CPA, in a release shared with Bitcoin Magazine. "This year’s program is built around the questions advisors and accountants are actually getting from clients, answered by the people building the infrastructure."

  • Supporting Sponsors: Unchained, Anchorage Digital, UTXO Management, River, SOUND HSA, SustainHash, and Stormrake.

Why It Matters

As adoption matures and institutional custody models evolve alongside record Bitcoin whale wallet accumulation, traditional financial advisors face growing pressure to handle client crypto exposure properly. Bringing former banking executives together with state regulators highlights how fiduciary duty, lending structures, and treasury valuation standards are becoming standardized. As public companies continue analyzing balance sheet reserves and navigating market shifts, events like BFFS26 bridge the gap between native crypto infrastructure and traditional financial advisory services.
