Sazmining Launches Proto Immersion Hashboards for Retail Buyers With 0% Financing

Bitcoin mining-as-a-service platform Sazmining announced on October 16th, 2026, that it has begun offering Proto immersion hashboards directly to individual and institutional buyers. The initiative allows retail clients to purchase component-level hardware manufactured by Block (NYSE: XYZ) starting at $1,397 with 0% financing over 18 months, expanding access to equipment previously restricted to enterprise operators.

Retail Hardware Deployment and Specs

Under the new offering, buyers acquire individual immersion hashboards configured to deliver roughly 200 TH of computing power at an efficiency rate of approximately 15 J/TH. Rather than requiring clients to purchase full turnkey server rigs, Sazmining's direct sales model lowers the initial capital expenditure while maintaining full hardware ownership for buyers.

The hosted hardware will operate out of Sazmining's US facilities, with maintenance, power management, and monitoring handled directly by the platform. Key operational details include:

  • Flexible Payment Terms: Buyers can select 0% financing over 18 months or pay via credit card, bitcoin, USDT, or USDC for a discount.
  • Hardware Protection: Each board is backed by a one-year Proto warranty.
  • Deployment Window: Purchased hashboards are scheduled to energize between November and December 2026.
  • Direct Rewards: Mined bitcoin is delivered directly to customer-controlled wallets without third-party exchange order books or custodial intermediaries.

Operational Scale and Sustainable Energy

The product release builds on an ongoing multi-megawatt supply partnership between Sazmining and Block's Proto division. Sazmining CEO and Co-Founder Kent Halliburton stated that the company's aligned-incentive model ensures revenue is generated only when client equipment produces bitcoin, adding that mining provides a unique strategy to diversify asset acquisition over the machine's lifespan.

Headquartered in Sheridan, Wyo., Sazmining operates data centers across the United States, Paraguay, and Norway. The company reports that its global fleet operates more than 20 points ahead of the Bitcoin network's average carbon-free energy share. Amid industry shifts such as the AI mining pivot, localized renewable deployments remain central to hosted infrastructure.

Why It Matters

Allowing retail investors to buy modular hashboards rather than expensive full-scale immersion containers significantly lowers the financial barrier to entry for hosted bitcoin mining. By decoupling hardware ownership from physical data center operations, retail participants gain direct access to enterprise-grade 15 J/TH efficiency without managing complex liquid-cooling logistics. This model also strengthens network decentralization by enabling smaller buyers to accumulate non-custodial bitcoin directly through block rewards over an extended operational lifecycle.
