BiXBiT Launches Custom Antminer Firmware Offering Up to 40% Hashrate Boost

Poland-based crypto infrastructure provider BiXBiT announced on October 28, 2026, the launch of its custom firmware for Bitmain Antminer hardware, delivering up to 40% higher hashrate and up to 35% better energy efficiency.

Hardware Tuning and Uninterrupted Operation

The new BiXBiT Antminer Firmware supports Bitmain's Antminer S21, S19, T21, T19, L9, and L7 series. It works on devices running stock firmware released prior to August 2026 (stock builds from August 2026 onward are not currently supported).

Operators can switch between auto-tuned performance profiles without restarting hardware. Features include downvolting capabilities, per-board control, fan speed tuning, and configurable temperature limits. To maintain operational continuity, the software automatically disables an unstable hashboard while keeping the machine running on remaining boards rather than initiating a total shutdown.

Management Integration and Commercial Features

The firmware connects with BiXBiT AMS 3.0, a management platform that monitors hashrate, temperatures, power consumption, and real-time profitability across hardware fleets, pushing alerts through Telegram and Discord. AMS 3.0 also supports Whatsminer hardware, mining containers, Smart PDUs, and cooling systems.

  • 40% Hashrate Increase: Achieved through auto-tuned profiles on supported Bitmain hardware.
  • 35% Energy Efficiency Improvement: Enabled via downvolting, per-board control, and thermal management.
  • Fault-Tolerant Operation: Automatically isolates failed hashboards while remaining boards stay online.
  • Partner Options: Feature reboot persistence on CVitek control boards, white-label availability, and volume DevFee rates.

New users receive a reduced DevFee for their first 30 days. BiXBiT, which has designed mining infrastructure and software since 2016, also provides custom development and joint marketing for enterprise partners.

Why It Matters

As mining difficulty continues to scale, hardware-level optimization has become vital for preserving operational margins. Generating a 40% performance gain without capital expenditure on new ASICs offers miners a distinct cost advantage during periods of market volatility. Furthermore, automated hashboard isolation reduces emergency maintenance overhead across commercial data centers.
