Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubt — negative sentiment, sometimes spread deliberately.
FUD stands for Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubt — negative information or sentiment that scares people into selling. Sometimes it's legitimate concern; sometimes it's spread on purpose to push prices down.
Like FOMO, the lesson is to judge claims on evidence rather than react emotionally to the crowd.
