Analyst Ali Martinez Warns AI Altcoins VVV, TRAC, and ARC Face Severe Downside Risk

Crypto analyst Ali Martinez has issued warning signals for three artificial intelligence-focused altcoins—Venice Token (VVV), OriginTrail (TRAC), and AI Rig Complex (ARC)—stating that the AI sector is "in big trouble." In an X thread, Martinez outlined bearish technical chart setups, warning that key support breakdowns could trigger severe price declines across all three assets.

Critical Downside Targets for VVV, TRAC, and ARC

For Venice Token (VVV), Martinez identified a head-and-shoulders pattern with a critical neckline near $21. A four-hour candle close below $21 would confirm a bearish reversal, potentially driving VVV down to $13 or $11. VVV currently trades around $24—roughly 16% above its neckline—after a 30-day decline of over 18%. The token remains 29% below its September 21 all-time high of $35, though it is up roughly 1,500% year-over-year. On October 21, VVV traded near $25.70 following a 12% weekly gain, when analyst nordin.eth highlighted the $21.50 to $22 region as a key bull defense line.

OriginTrail (TRAC) is trading inside a descending triangle with a support floor near $0.38. TRAC has already slipped to $0.36 after reaching $0.41 in the past 24 hours. A four-hour close below $0.38 risks extending its decline toward $0.26. TRAC is down 9.5% over the past week, while daily trading volume fell 41% to $6.5 million.

AI Rig Complex (ARC) recently bounced from its channel floor near $0.030 up to its mid-range level around $0.060, where it currently sits. Martinez warned that rejection at $0.060 could send ARC back to $0.030, while a daily close below $0.030 opens downside targets at $0.014 or even $0.0075. Despite a 44.5% weekly gain, ARC remains down 14.5% over the past month.

Key Technical Levels to Watch

  • Venice Token (VVV): Neckline sits at $21; losing it risks drops to $13 or $11.
  • OriginTrail (TRAC): Trading at $0.36, below its $0.38 floor; next support target is $0.26.
  • AI Rig Complex (ARC): Rejection at $0.060 risks a retest of $0.030, with deeper downside to $0.014 and $0.0075.
  • Market Context: Weakness comes as Bitcoin fell below $80,000 to $79,100 before recovering to $81,000, with total market cap under $2.7 trillion.

Why It Matters

The weakness across AI altcoins highlights how quickly niche sector rallies can unwind when broader market momentum stalls. While AI tokens saw massive speculative inflows earlier this year, declining volume and head-and-shoulders top formations indicate reduced trader risk appetite. If Bitcoin struggles to sustain its momentum, altcoins with broken support structures face heightened risk of extended liquidation.
