Public Key

Your wallet's shareable address, derived from your private key.

A public key (and the wallet address derived from it) is what you share to receive crypto — like an account number. It's safe to give out.

It's mathematically linked to your private key, but the math only works one way: people can send to your public address, yet they can't reverse it to find your private key.
