Circulating Supply

The number of coins currently available and trading in the market.

Circulating supply is the number of coins that are publicly available and changing hands right now — excluding locked, reserved, or not-yet-released coins.

It's the figure used to calculate market cap, and comparing it to the total or maximum supply tells you how much potential dilution is still to come.
